Some people don’t want nice things. They don’t care about compliments or kind gestures. They only wish for people to devote themselves fully. They don’t care about their devotees, just use them. The fact that someone felt something for them doesn’t mean anything, they simply toss that feeling in with the rest with a wicked smile.
I don’t understand how people get this way, just that they do. They loved you. You were their whole world, while they were just another notch on your wall.
