Well, despite my mother being an absolute witch, today was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I was feeling extra lazy and bummed out this morning so I didn't even bother with my hair. But everyone seems to like it curly anyways.
I guess I'm just loving the end-of-semester nothingness in all of our classes. Except Mrs. White's class, of course. Exams tomorrow. I might study some tonight. But then probably not. I'm going to skip fourth block tomorrow (because no one is taking attendance) and go practice for my region band audition on Saturday. Everyone says I've got a good shot, but I hate to get confident.
I love those days when you just feel like everyone loves you. I don't mean that to sound vain, but I'm talking about those days when no one tries to put you down. I had a day full of good conversations and two-sided compliments and mutual peace. It really helps to relax you when you feel like you don't have to watch your back.
And then I came home and felt the wrath that I had managed to avoid all day. But that's not out of the ordinary, and it's not my point.
Really though, I wish that everyone could have more days like this. Today was how I think life should be. Just nice people. No conflict. Just friendship and kindness and love.
I'll stop before I begin to sound too sappy.
I'm really excited for everything that we're going to do for Savannah. If we made "Team Savannah" t-shirts, I wonder if they would sell. Hopefully we'll also be able to sell that "World's Finest Chocolate" stuff and have like a Sonic night or Cici's night. Maybe we could even to that pankace breakfast at Fatz Cafe. That would all be really fun. Would you guys come?
And in case you were wondering, those pictures have no relevance to anything whatsoever.
They just made me happy.
So there ya go.
Now I really, really want those cupcakes.. (:
ReplyDeleteI would buy a tshirt.
ReplyDeleteAnd go to as many things as I could and bring whoever with me.
Tons of people would come, I'm sure.
I bet if you can make this happen,
they're put it on the announcements and let you put up flyers and stuff around the school.
Mrs. Proctor would be all for it,
she would help you do what you couldn't.
I don't know Savannah all that well, but I've talked to her a few times and had classes with her and I will do anything to help <3
