CAUTION: Religious rant ahead.

I can’t stand when people say that being gay is a sin. Saying “Oh my God” is also a sin. Killing someone is also a sin. All sin is equal under God. So if we’re looking at it religiously, God sees gay people the same way He sees all of us. As sinners. So it is not the right for one person to feel all high-and-mighty under God and look down on gays, because it is impossible to avoid all sin in the world, and being gay is no exception to that.

So yes, I believe that gay people can be Christians. They will have sin in their life, just as every other Christian has sin in their life. Ultimately, God will forgive all of the sins of those who choose to live their life through Him.

People are born gay. It’s not a life choice. I simply cannot process the idea that our loving and merciful God would subject certain people to living a life of sin if there was nothing they could do to build a relationship with Him.
